The Competition

We provide participating school teams with identical kits containing all materials and equipment necessary to construct a robot for the BEST competition, at no cost to the schools
To participate, schools simply register with our Hub and attend our summer Teacher/Mentor Institute
Teams can choose to compete for the BEST Award, which is presented to the team that best embodies the concept of Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology. See The BEST Award – General Rules

At Kickoff in early September the game rules and field are revealed to participating teams & teams are given materials for building their robots
Practice Day in mid-October gives teams a chance to practice with their robots on the game field (5 weeks after Kickoff)
Game Day Competition in late October (6 weeks after Kickoff)
